RECENT HISTORY AND CURRENT CONDITION

This ancient boat suffered saltwater intrusion in the spring of 2002.
Sea Tow was called and the boat was saved from sinking.
Thereafter the boat sat on land for 13 months while litigation ensued AND RACOONS MOVED IN!!!!
Following that the bottom was totally epoxyed and covered with 3 layers of fiberglass.
I purchased the boat in Apr. 2005, evicted the racoons and mildew, Did a bottom job, launched ,
and have been working very hard ever since.!

This is the boat as it is currently JAN. 2010

THE DRAGONS ARE COMING !!

The entire interior is Teak with some boards 20" wide. When entering the interior of "EAST WIND", you will feel you have stepped back in time .
This boat is my home and office .
The process has been slow, but is actually farther ahead than the photos seem to show.
Basically, it's a matter of doing things right the first time and this process takes a great deal of thought and planning.
Plus all new appliances and mechanical devices must fit through a 23" opening as no cutting or mechanical
intrusion is going to happen that will alter or deface the original structure.
Any and all email comments and or suggestions are welcome

NEW GARDNER ENGINE SHOULD BE INSTALLED BY MAY !
